Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking a Data Steward in the Enterprise Enabling Data Domain (EEDD) to shape and implement data management strategies, with a focus on proactive data improvements and robust governance.

You will work within a team of about seventy data professionals, specializing in data modelling and ensuring BCBS239 compliance, while driving end-to-end data products in a hybrid Amsterdam-based setup.

Qualifications

• Experience with data management and governance according to DAMA DMBOK.
• Proficiency in conceptual and logical data modelling.
• Ability to unravel complex data structures and improve data quality.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and maintenance of the EEDD Business Data Models with stakeholders.
• Serve as the go-to person for Data Modelling activities within EEDD; transfer knowledge to team members and other stakeholders.
• Develop and implement data management policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as BCBS239.
• Monitor and improve data quality including root cause analyses on complex data sources.
• Develop, monitor, and enhance data management capabilities.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for FDGM data products and use cases from concept to implementation.
• Unravel complex data structures.
• Influence stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions.
