Job summary

RiverBank is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join the Structured Loans Department, focusing on loans to SMEs and Real Estate across Europe. You will analyze, present and monitor credit cases, support deal opportunities, and contribute to negotiations and borrower relationships.

The role requires 8–10 years in a similar banking or private debt setting, a degree in Finance/ Economics/ Business Administration, and fluent Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
• 8–10 years of experience in a similar role at a bank or private debt fund.
• Knowledge of loan products and/or bonds and Dutch law.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent numerical and financial modelling skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional language is a plus.
• Results-driven; adaptable in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be a key member of the Structured Loans Department, which is dedicated to building and maintaining a strong performing portfolio of loans to SMEs and Real Estate companies across Europe

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyse, prepare and present credit cases to the Credit team and to the Credit Committee;
• Support and interact with the Credit and Sales teams in the analysis of new deal opportunities;
• Take an active role and participate in negotiations and in borrower relationships;
• Review loan documentation together with the legal team;
• Draft term sheets and engagement letters;
• Anticipate any credit deterioration through active monitoring of borrowers using digital technology;
• Participate in the portfolio and borrower companies monitoring.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration;
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in a similar role at a bank or private debt fund;
• Knowledge of loan products and/or bonds and Dutch law;
• Strong analytical and writing skills;
• Excellent numerical and financial modelling skills;
• Good communication skills;
• Fluent in Dutch and English (knowledge of an additional language would be an asset);
• Result-driven;
• Able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
