Job summary

ROA Talent is supporting a global Construction company with the appointment of a Senior Cost Manager in Amsterdam, to lead cost planning and financial control across a portfolio of data centre and mission critical projects.

The role requires experience in cost management, reporting to senior stakeholders, and delivering detailed cost analyses across multiple projects and regions; remote/hybrid work is available within an internationally connected project environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years experience in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management.
• Experience in a cost consultancy environment preferred.
• Experience managing costs across multiple projects, programmes or portfolios.
• Strong commercial management, cost planning and financial control experience.
• Good understanding of change management and commercial governance.
• Experience producing and presenting detailed cost reports and financial analyses.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders across regions.
• Comfortable operating in remote/hybrid, internationally connected projects.

Associate Cost Manager | Data Centres / Mission Critical | Amsterdam

ROA Talent is supporting a global Construction company with the appointment of a Senior Cost Manager in Dublin, working across a portfolio of complex construction projects.

This would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager who has moved beyond simply managing individual packages and is comfortable taking responsibility for cost planning, financial control, change management and senior-level reporting across multiple projects.

The environment is highly stakeholder-driven, so the ability to communicate commercial information clearly and influence project decisions is just as important as producing the numbers.

What we're looking for

• 5-8+ years' experience within Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
• Strong preference for experience within a cost consultancy environment
• Experience managing costs across multiple projects, programmes or portfolios
• Strong commercial management, cost planning and financial control experience
• Good understanding of change management and commercial governance
• Experience producing and presenting detailed cost reports and financial analysis
• Chartered status
• Degree or equivalent background in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction or a related discipline
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders across different projects and regions
• Comfortable operating within a remote / hybrid, internationally connected project environment

Experience within Data Centre, Mission Critical or large-scale Infrastructure construction would be particularly relevant, although candidates from other technically complex sectors will also be considered.
