Job summary

BlockTech in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take technical ownership of our Core trading systems, ensuring accuracy across positions, PnL, and instruments. You will design services for real-time exchange flow with throughput and reliability essential to quoting and hedging.

You will also own data pipelines, lead venue integrations end-to-end, and model the instrument universe where latency matters.

Responsibilities

• Own the books: maintain and evolve position, PnL, and risk data across venues
• Architect and design platform services for real-time exchange flow with high throughput
• Own data flows: operate pipelines bringing market data, state, and trades in real time
• Lead venue integrations end-to-end across protocol, settlement, and surveillance
• Model instrument universe: lifecycle, expiry, margin, RFQs, quoting latency
• Build self-healing systems to detect and repair position discrepancies automatically
