Job summary

BlockTech in Amsterdam is seeking a Software Engineer for our Core team to build and maintain the real-time trading platform. You will work across Rust services and Python data pipelines, ensuring accurate position data, PnL, and market feeds while delivering reliable integrations with exchanges.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of commercial experience as a Software Engineer.
• Familiar with Rust and Python across production systems.
• Experience with Grafana and PostgreSQL.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own the books: maintain and evolve position, trade, and PnL systems across venues.
• Build data pipelines and services to handle real-time exchange flow with high throughput.
• Operate data pipelines for prices, account state, and trades in real time.
• Integrate new venues end-to-end: protocol, accounts, settlement, reconciliation.
• Develop self-healing systems and hedging infrastructure for latency-sensitive models.
• Deliver reporting for internal and regulatory needs.
