Job summary

Ockto, a Dutch fintech data-sharing platform, seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and automate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure in a cloud-native environment. You will improve reliability, security, and cost efficiency while driving AI-assisted development workflows.

You will partner with a global engineering team and operate in a fast, trust-driven culture that values ownership and continuous improvement. Remote-friendly with strong in-person collaboration in Naarden.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SRE/DevOps experience in cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience and cloud security focus.
• Proficient with Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Linux, networking and cloud-native architectures. CI/CD and observability.
• Scripting or programming with Python/Go/Bash/PowerShell.
• Analytical, troubleshooting mindset and automation passion.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and pipelines.
• Improve reliability, resilience, and security of the platform.
• Strengthen security posture, IAM, secrets management and hardening.
• Balance cost with performance and resilience.
• Promote AI-assisted development workflows and tooling.
• Uphold privacy and data-ethics in all work.
