Job summary

QTC Recruitment is partnering with a Leiden-based biopharmaceutical organization to appoint a Senior Capital Projects Manager. You will own major CAPEX investments (>€20 million) and drive PMO development to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets and regulatory standards.

The role requires extensive experience in regulated pharma environments, GMP knowledge, and strong governance and stakeholder management skills. An international setting with relocation support is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant project management experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and sterile manufacturing environments.
• Experience with PMO development, project governance, and stakeholder management.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex CAPEX projects from business case through engineering, execution, commissioning and handover.
• Strengthen PMO capabilities with governance structures and portfolio oversight.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Finance; manage external partners.
