Job summary

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Leiden B.V. in Leiden is seeking a Manager Project Management to lead and develop the PM team, drive process improvements, and ensure efficient project execution across multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in pharma/biotech/CRO/CDMO/lab.
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams.
• Experience with process improvement, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of GMP-regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, change management skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-focused, results-oriented, balancing strategy with execution.
• Located in the Netherlands with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and developing the Project Management team.
• Improving and standardizing project management processes (scoping, monitoring, communication, reporting).
• Developing and maintaining forecasting processes for project demand.
• Implementing structured capacity planning with laboratory management.
• Establishing clear prioritization for routine and non-routine activities.
• Supporting regular project management activities (intake, scoping, planning, forecasting, prioritization, customer communication, reporting, execution oversight).
