Job summary

Aviko, a leading international potato processor, seeks a Senior Business Development Manager North America. This home-based role covers the USA and requires travel across the region to win new contracts and expand distributor and broker networks.

You will identify opportunities, build senior relationships with national and regional foodservice operators, translate market insights into growth, and contribute to annual plans and forecasts while collaborating with colleagues in Europe and North

Qualifications

• Significant commercial experience in business development, key account management or sales leadership in foodservice or the food industry.
• Culinary background is a plus.
• Experience in frozen foods, potato products, fries or appetizers is advantageous.
• Proven track record of winning and growing large, complex accounts.
• Strong network among regional chain restaurants and foodservice decision-makers on the U.S. East Coast preferred.
• Experience working with distributors, brokers and multi-level customer organizations.
• Strong commercial judgement and ownership, including P&L responsibility.
• Entrepreneurial, self-starting, collaborative in an international organization.
• Willingness to travel frequently in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across North America.
• Build and expand senior relationships with national and regional foodservice operators, distributors and key accounts.
• Develop a high-quality commercial new business funnel with brokers and convert opportunities into growth.
• Represent Aviko at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows.
• Support expansion within chain restaurant groups and other foodservice segments.
• Translate customer needs and market insights into commercial opportunities.
• Contribute to annual sales plans, budgeting and pipeline management.
• Travel frequently as required.
