Job summary

BYD Europe BV in Hoofddorf, Netherlands, seeks a Senior Event Specialist to drive national marketing events and brand experiences for BYD and DENZA across the Benelux region. You will lead end-to-end planning for model launches, roadshows, media drives, and test drive experiences that raise brand awareness and engagement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in event/experiential marketing, strong project management, and experience with agencies and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and above required.
• 5+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or brand event management.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale brand events, product launches, or experiential campaigns.
• Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple events.
• Experience working with event agencies, production vendors, and cross-functional marketing teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel within the Benelux region and occasionally internationally.
• Fluency in English; Dutch or French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver large-scale national marketing events and local brand activations across the Benelux region.
• Lead organization of model launch events, media events, and brand showcases for BYD and DENZA.
• Design engaging consumer-facing experiences including test drive events and brand activations.
• Coordinate new model launches, including launch events, press and fleet previews, and media test drives.
• Collaborate with PR, product, and marketing to align launches with broader campaigns.
• Manage national roadshows, brand activations, and multi-city test drive programs.
