Job summary

Requirements include direct data centre experience, strong BMS/Controls knowledge, and an electrical background with HVAC integration. Fluency in English is essential, with VCA or ICT certification and full on-site work in Groningen.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as BMS Package Manager or Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.
• Direct Data Centre experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of BMS/Controls in mission-critical environments.
• Electrical background preferred with HVAC integration knowledge.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams.
• Excellent commissioning and handover experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Valid VCA or ICT certification.
• Able to work full-time on-site in Groningen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the BMS package across a large-scale data centre project.
• Manage and coordinate BMS, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams on site.
• Drive programme, quality, safety, and productivity targets.
• Oversee BMS installation, testing, commissioning, and integration activities.
• Interface with client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and commissioning teams.
• Coordinate system integration between BMS, HVAC, electrical distribution, and critical infrastructure.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Review technical documentation, commissioning procedures, and handover packages.
• Support project reporting, planning, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works are delivered on schedule and within budget.
