Job summary

Unknown Company in Groningen is seeking a Project Manager to support a portfolio of facility investment projects, guiding them from initiation to completion while ensuring safety and quality.

You will coordinate internal stakeholders, engineering partners, suppliers and contractors to deliver CAPEX projects on time and within budget, overseeing planning, budgeting, risks, and handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple facility investment projects from initial planning through to completion and handover.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress updates.
• Support feasibility activities and budget preparation.
• Coordinate engineering partners, suppliers, and contractors.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, issues, and changes.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Support commissioning activities, handover, and project close-out.

Job description

We are currently supporting a leading organisation in Groningen with the search for a Project Manager to support a portfolio of facility investment projects.

The role will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The projects will focus on facility-related investments, including building infrastructure, HVAC, utilities, and other site improvement activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, engineering partners, suppliers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple facility investment projects from initial planning through to completion and handover.

Requirements:

• Experience managing engineering, construction, facilities, or technical infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering CAPEX or investment projects within an operational environment.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, stakeholder management, and contractor coordination.
• Good understanding of facility-related projects such as HVAC, utilities, buildings, or infrastructure.
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing projects from start to finish.
