Job summary

NLO, located in the Netherlands, is seeking a skilled Patent Attorney to join its Biotech/Life Sciences and Pharmaceuticals practice. You will leverage deep IP knowledge to guide national and international clients, protect inventions and manage portfolios, while collaborating within a matrix team.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a patent attorney or IP professional.
Fluent English in writing and speaking; native English a plus.
Experience in Biotech/Life Sciences or Pharma patents preferred.
European or US patent attorney qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Advise inventors, heads of research, in-house attorneys and commercial leaders on IP matters.
Protect inventions and manage patent portfolios for national and international clients.
Work in a matrix team with other attorneys across stages of qualification.
Develop new client relationships and expand NLO's global offering.
Support and coach trainees to develop their skills.
