Job summary

WMC Group in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist — Battery Materials to join the Operations team. You will support the commercial team and internal functions to ensure timely deliveries aligned with contracts, working in a fast-paced, international environment.

The role offers exposure to high-value international transactions, collaboration with senior professionals, and growth within the battery materials portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in commodity operations, logistics, warehousing, or customer service.
• Experience with letters of credit.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support contracting during the draft phase with recommendations on contract language.
• Plan, optimise, and execute physical deliveries across the full logistics chain.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with forwarding companies, warehouses and inspection agencies.
• Manage export letters of credit: ensure correct wording and timely presentation of shipping docs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and compliant shipping documentation.
• Collaborate with IT on system improvements and ad hoc projects.
