Job summary

CarbonX in Delft, Netherlands, seeks a Battery Engineer to evaluate and optimize battery materials and processes in a lab setting. This full-time, on-site role focuses on advancing slurry, coating, calendaring, and cell assembly activities within a collaborative team.

The candidate will have a relevant degree and at least 3 years of hands-on battery lab experience, with strong quality control and data reporting skills, contributing to sustainable energy innovations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years hands-on experience in a battery laboratory environment.
• Experience with slurry preparation, coating, calendaring or SLP assembly is desirable.
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve battery materials and processes with engineers and technicians.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Conduct quality control and document precision of results.
• Record observations and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate to troubleshoot problems and optimize workflows.
