Job summary

Nebius, a Nasdaq-listed Amsterdam-based AI cloud platform, is seeking a senior/Staff Engineer to lead the mk8s Core team. You will own the API, core service control plane, cluster autoscaling, platform integrations, and Kubernetes add-ons while starting as IC and moving into management.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and Service Owners to shape the product vision, mentor 4–8 engineers, and drive high-impact projects across thousands of GPU nodes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering or management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Golang or willingness to switch quickly.
• Proven ability to lead multi-month technical projects and coach engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example: code, review, lead projects, on-call rotation, incident mitigation, post-incident analyses.
• Manage 4–8 mid-to-senior engineers: provide context, coaching and feedback.
• Maintain the technical vision for your area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Service Owner to shape product vision and plans.
