Job summary

Nebius in Amsterdam is seeking a senior or staff engineer to lead the mk8s Core team, owning the API, the core of the service control plane, cluster autoscaling, platform integrations, and running Kubernetes add-ons. You will start as an individual contributor to gain context, then take on managerial responsibilities.

We expect 8+ years of professional software engineering or management experience, strong Golang expertise, and a track record leading multi-month projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering or management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Golang.
• Experience leading multi-month technical projects and engineers.
• Willing to start as IC and progress to management.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example through code writing and reviews.
• Manage 4–8 mid-to-senior engineers.
• Maintain the technical vision for the area.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and Service Owner.
