Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment is seeking a senior infrastructure engineer to own an Azure platform, set its technical direction, and work directly with the client to ensure resilience and scalability.

You will design multi-region architectures, manage identity and security boundaries, and be the go-to expert for Terraform or Bicep with PowerShell or Python. Hybrid work from Amsterdam or Rotterdam, with flexibility for client-site work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure engineering, Azure at scale.
• Designed and built cloud platforms across multiple organisations.
• Multi-region and global setups with connectivity, identity and security boundaries.
• Terraform or Bicep as default; PowerShell or Python required.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of an Azure platform and steer its direction.
• Design multi-region, global connectivity, identity and security boundaries.
• Lead technical conversations with a client’s engineers and architects; no line management.
• Write Terraform and/or Bicep; handle incidents as part of the role.
