Job summary

Lely is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and build secure, scalable cloud platforms supporting our global operations. You will collaborate with architects, DevOps, security, and development teams to translate requirements into reliable Azure-based solutions.

You will lead IaC/CI/CD initiatives, strengthen cloud governance and security, and coach colleagues in a hybrid Netherlands-based setting.

Qualifications

• Requires HBO-level education and 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Microsoft Azure certification at associate level (AZ-104) or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and cloud security, governance, monitoring, availability, and continuity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve secure and scalable cloud platforms with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Translate business and technical requirements into reliable cloud solutions that support international growth.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices.
• Support development and DevOps teams in adopting and operationalizing cloud solutions.
• Safeguard security, availability, performance, and continuity of cloud environments; identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to cloud strategy, standards, and roadmap; coach colleagues and share knowledge.
