Job summary

Yinson in The Hague seeks a Senior Associate in General Ledger to maintain ledger integrity, prepare month-end reports, and support financial closes. You will collaborate with Europe & Africa teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting and contribute to audits and tax compliance.

The role requires 3–7 years in multinational financial accounting, strong Dutch GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint/Word.

Qualifications

3–7 years in financial accounting and reporting within a multinational setting or Big 4.
Dutch GAAP knowledge and local statutory requirements.
Strong analytical and regulatory reporting capabilities.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; able to craft presentations.
Bachelor degree in accounting/finance; RA/RC/ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

Maintain general ledger transactions in line with accounting standards.
Prepare month-end journals, financial statements and analyses, with focus on revenue recognition and finance lease accounting.
Support timely month-end closes and reporting to stakeholders, including budget forecasts and board papers with accounting insights.
Collaborate with group teams to gather data for consolidations and ensure consistent financial reporting.
Assist in audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance efforts.
Identify automation opportunities for efficiency in financial systems (e.g., IFS).
Participate in special finance projects and ad hoc tasks.
