Job summary

NIBC is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Data & Analytics team in the Netherlands. You will implement complex business logic with DBT and Python, build and optimize data pipelines, and deliver scalable data products for Finance, Retail and Risk teams across NIBC’s centralized cloud data platform.

As part of the central Data Integration team, you will guide requirements, ensure data quality, and cooperate with IT and business stakeholders to transition legacy solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related role.
• Strong DBT, SQL, Python skills with data platform experience.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Implement solutions on our cloud platform ensuring quality and standards.
• Model data to align with centralized target data model.
• Ensure data quality through automated testing and observability.
• Maintain clear data model and transformation documentation.
• Stay updated with analytics engineering best practices.
