Job summary

NIBC Bank is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Data & Analytics team. You will translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, build data pipelines, and ensure data quality across a centralized cloud platform.

You will collaborate with Finance, Retail, and Risk teams, applying DBT, SQL, Python, and modern data technologies to deliver robust data products. You will transition legacy data solutions to the centralized cloud platform, guide requirements, and support

Qualifications

Degree in CS/IT/Data Science or related field.
Proven ability to implement complex business logic, transformations, testing, and workflows using DBT.
Advanced SQL development and optimization skills.
Experience with Python for data transformation and analytics.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
Implement cloud platform solutions meeting business and technical standards.
Translate source data models into centralized target data model.
Ensure data quality with automated tests, observability, and documentation.
Maintain data models and transformations documentation.
Stay updated on analytics engineering and cloud data platforms.
Implement data quality checks and observability using DBT, Soda or similar tools.
