Job summary

NIBC Bank in The Hague (Netherlands) is seeking an experienced BI professional to join our Data & Analytics department. You will own and evolve the centralized Power BI and Fabric platform, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data products and trusted dashboards.

You'll design semantic models, mentor users on best practices, and help govern and secure BI solutions within our enterprise architecture, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in BI engineering or similar role.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, semantic and dimensional modelling and DAX.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and BI governance standards.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions.
• Experience mentoring stakeholders and working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements across the bank and translate them into centralized BI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain Power BI/Fabric standards across the organization.
• Migrate and consolidate legacy BI solutions to Power BI and Fabric.
• Design, develop, and maintain semantic models, dashboards, and self-service analytics.
• Mentor users on Power BI and Fabric best practices; contribute to governance and security.
