Job summary

Gartner is seeking an Analyst to provide research and advisory to global clients, focusing on transforming controllership using AI and automation. You will meet with clients daily and deliver insights that drive CFO performance.

You will collaborate with senior analysts, publish authoritative research, and present findings in person and virtually. A deep knowledge of ERP and accounting technologies will help shape strategic outcomes across finance functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA or equivalent preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years in field with experience in large organisations and financial close processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting automation vendors and ERP technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for transforming controllership processes (AP, AR, financial close) using AI and automation.
• Collaborate with experienced analysts to provide research and advisory addressing CFO priorities.
• Deliver high quality advice through face-to-face and video presentations to clients.
• Stay ahead on accounting tech and transformation strategy across finance functions.
