Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our AML detection product within Identity & Risk Intelligence. You will own the strategy, align with Compliance and senior stakeholders, and drive ML-driven detection across Adyen’s markets.

You will lead Data Scientists, Data Analysts and Backend Engineers, partnering with Compliance, Operations and other product teams to scale solutions in a regulated fintech environment. Amsterdam-based, office-first role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Management experience building ML-driven, high-scale products.
• 2+ years of experience in AML, fraud detection or financial crime.
• Proven track record of owning and scaling ML-driven detection, scoring or risk models.
• Experience in regulated payments, banking or fintech environments.
• Strong influence with senior stakeholders, especially Compliance, Legal and Risk.
• Autonomous and accountable with strategic execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AML detection product roadmap and strategy.
• Lead a team of Data Scientists, Data Analysts and Backend Engineers.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations and other product teams to align on the roadmap.
• Translate regulatory expectations into clear product boundaries and delivery plans.
• Define success metrics and continuously improve signal quality for Investigations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, self-service detection.
