Job summary

Philip s is seeking an AI Senior Systems Engineer to lead the integration of Artificial Intelligence into RAMS and Systems Engineering at Philips. You will shape methodologies, drive AI adoption, and translate AI capabilities into practical, scalable solutions across product development lifecycles.

You will collaborate with systems engineers, RAMS experts, architects, software teams, and AI specialists to deliver measurable engineering and business value while contributing to Philips’ AI-enabled

Qualifications

Experience in Systems Engineering, RAMS, or Digital Engineering in complex product development.
Proven track record driving engineering innovation and transformation.
Strong grounding in RAMS principles and large-scale product development.
Knowledge of AI technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs, ML, knowledge graphs.
Ability to translate AI capabilities into practical engineering solutions.
Experience coaching engineers and leading technical stakeholders.
Comfort working in a cross-functional global environment.

Responsibilities

Drive the adoption of AI within Systems Engineering and RAMS practices across Philips.
Identify, develop, and scale AI use cases for requirements engineering, system architecture, modelling, verification, validation, traceability, and engineering knowledge management.
Identify, develop, and scale AI use cases for RAMS engineering like FMEA, data analysis, HALT/ALT, Modelling Simulation & Analysis, for Hardware and Software
Support engineering teams in evaluating and implementing AI-enabled engineering workflows, methods, and tools.
Coach and educate Systems Engineers, RAMS Engineers, Architects, and technical leaders on the opportunities, limitations, and best practices of applying AI within engineering environments.
Develop methodologies, standards, guidance, and reusable frameworks that enable the effective use of AI in Systems Engineering and RAMS Engineering.
Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate measurable engineering and business value.
Collaborate with engineering, software, data science, and AI experts to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical solutions.
Contribute to Philips-wide strategy and roadmap development for AI-enabled Systems Engineering, RAMS, and Digitalization of Innovation.
Foster a community of practice focused on innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Stay at the forefront of developments in AI, RAMS, Digital Engineering, and Systems Engineering, translating external innovations into practical applications for Philips.
