Job summary

RWS is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to define technical direction and drive scalable AI platforms. You will shape core architecture, create reusable abstractions, and lead evaluation frameworks for AI capabilities at enterprise scale.

The role combines research, software engineering, and testing disciplines to produce production-ready, secure AI features with strong quality and reliability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant software engineering experience building production systems.
• Proficiency in Python and strong testing discipline.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and ML systems.
• Experience designing evaluation for AI/ML systems.
• Strong knowledge of evaluation metrics and methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of cross-team influence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture and technical strategy for AI platforms.
• Define evaluation methodologies, metrics, and tooling for AI capabilities.
• Lead by example, mentoring engineers and codifying best practices.
• Collaborate with research, product, and localization teams to align quality with needs.
• Champion governance, reproducibility, and responsible-AI checks across platforms.
