Job summary

Confidential Offensive Cybersecurity Startup is seeking a Software Engineer to join its AI team, building AI hacking agents and agentic security products. You will develop systems capable of autonomously carrying out offensive security tasks, taking projects from idea through development and deployment.

You will own features end-to-end, work on cutting-edge AI and security integrations, and ship quickly within a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade Python systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with ambiguous, high-impact projects.
• Startup/scale-up mindset with bias toward shipping quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimise AI agents capable of performing offensive security tasks.
• Develop LLM applications, agent harnesses, APIs and data models.
• Evaluate agent performance using real-world security testing.
• Debug and improve AI systems in production.
• Respond to production issues and improve system reliability.
• Experiment quickly, learn from results and continuously improve the product.
