Qualifications

• 7+ years building applications with a modern backend stack.
• Experience with object‑oriented languages; Python is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with TypeScript and React.
• Strong experience building, deploying, and maintaining APIs on Azure.
• Solid fundamentals in software architecture and system design.
• Experience with relational and document‑based databases.
• Quality‑first mindset; testing is second nature.
• Proficiency with AI‑assisted engineering tools (Claude Code).
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production APIs and services in Python and C# for financial statement workflows.
• Develop AI powered agents and workflows to automate preparation and checking of statements.
• Contribute to the React frontend where auditors review results.
• Pair LLM outputs with deterministic checks to ensure trustworthiness.
• Integrate with Azure and its AI services.
• Apply OWASP and GenAI security guidance across the stack.
• Architect services using established design principles for future use cases.
• Write robust, production‑ready code with tests as deliverables.
• Mentor engineers, drive best practices, and participate in hiring and onboarding.
• Diagnose issues across services and drive stability with operational data.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and own what you ship.
• Break down epics, manage dependencies, and navigate ambiguity.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape solutions and roadmaps.
• Foster documentation and knowledge sharing with stakeholders.
• Use AI‑assisted engineering responsibly and critique AI output.
