Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned BI Engineer to design, build, and optimize Power BI data products and dashboards. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate KPIs into scalable solutions, leverage Azure Databricks, and implement CI/CD for robust deployment.

The role emphasizes data modeling, reporting usability, and continuous improvement with a focus on Microsoft technologies and AI-enhanced features.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
4+ years designing and implementing Power BI solutions with DAX and Power Query.
Strong data modeling and modern data architectures (cloud-based).
Experience with Azure and Databricks desirable.
SQL and Python coding for Azure environment.
Experience in Power Apps development.
Power Automate is a plus.
CI/CD pipelines in DevOps with Git workflows.
UX/UI best practices for dashboards.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI data products, including reports and semantic models.
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards with strong usability standards.
Develop and deliver solutions in Power Apps and Power Automate.
Implement CI/CD and version control using Azure DevOps.
Apply data engineering to refine data models and datasets.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate KPIs into scalable solutions.
Explore new Power BI features, Fabric capabilities, and AI enhancements.
Contribute to metadata management and governance.
Provide ad-hoc analyses and document processes for end-users.
