Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help build and improve intelligent applications at a large financial organisation in the Netherlands. You will combine strong software engineering with practical AI experience to deliver solutions that integrate with existing platforms.

You'll develop Python-based software, deploy AI capabilities, work with data sources and cloud services, and collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to implement scalable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software or AI engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve software applications using Python.
• Build and integrate AI capabilities into applications.
• Work with LLMs and Generative AI where relevant.
• Develop APIs and backend services.
• Integrate AI models with platforms and data sources.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers and stakeholders.
• Explore solutions such as RAG, embeddings and vector databases.
• Deploy, monitor and improve applications in a cloud environment.
• Contribute to software architecture, development standards and best practices.
• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable and maintainable.
