Job summary

Artefact is seeking a Senior Deployed AI Engineer to join our applied AI team. You will design and build end-to-end AI products, interfacing with enterprise data, and deploying production-grade solutions for client projects.

You will work closely with clients, own components end-to-end, and leverage Gemini Enterprise, Vertex AI, and ADK to deliver scalable, grounded AI applications in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of software or data engineering experience with hands-on AI tools.
• Strong experience with Google AI stack: Gemini models, Vertex AI, and ADK.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript with API development.
• Frontend development (React) and at least one backend framework.
• Hands-on with RAG, embeddings, vector search, and agentic frameworks.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack AI applications from interface to infrastructure.
• Develop interfaces, services, and APIs in Python/JS.
• Design and deploy Gemini Enterprise agents and integration pipelines.
• Establish production practices: tests, CI/CD, observability.
• Collaborate with clients, communicate progress, and mentor juniors.
• Contribute to accelerators, reusable components, and engineering standards.
