Job summary

Vendor-MGT, based in Amsterdam with global reach, seeks an experienced consultant to lead or support media agency selections for advertisers worldwide. You will build longlists from market knowledge, write briefs with clients, and maintain a format that enables real comparisons across proposals.

You will assess presentations, case rounds and chemistry meetings, then steer the commercial round to a watertight contract while preserving client relationships and trust.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in media from the agency side, the advertiser side or as a consultant.
• A feel for process and for people: you see the difference between a pitch team and the team doing the work.
• You can hold a conversation that challenges an agency without breaking the relationship.
• Strong in writing, because the brief decides the outcome.
• You expect the tooling to do the comparing, so your time goes to the judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support agency selections, in a single market or dozens at once.
• Build the longlist from market knowledge and conversations, not from what has been published.
• Write briefs together with the client.
• Hold the response format that makes a real comparison possible.
• Assess presentations, case rounds and chemistry meetings.
• Prepare the commercial round and help make the contract watertight.
