Job summary

APL Logistics operates a new Amsterdam distribution center and is expanding its warehouse team. We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Inventory Clerk to ensure product compliance, lead inspections, and support daily warehouse operations from our Amsterdam facility.

The role emphasizes routine quality checks, documentation accuracy, and team leadership with a focus on safety and efficient processes within a global logistics network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations with inventory background and quality measurement.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and RF scanners.
• Strong attention to detail, math skills, and ability to interpret operational documents.
• Ability to make quality decisions based on experience and product standards.
• Team player with effective communication skills and fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming products for compliance with purchase orders (SKU, color, size, ticketing, quantity, hanger).
• Record non-compliances in the system and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Perform basic quality tests and operate measuring devices and scales.
• Lead and train junior QA staff, audit their work, and troubleshoot inspection issues.
• Follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines, including PPE.

We’re looking for a colleague to join our new warehouse team in Amsterdam in the position of Quality Assurance and Inventory Clerk. The Quality Assurance and Inventory Clerk is responsible for ensuring product compliance, leading inspections and support warehouse operations.

The typical salary range for this position is: €35.504 - €42.513 (paid on 13 -month salaries + holiday allowance)
