Crocs, Inc. in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting, statutory reporting, compliance, and financial close for the Dutch entity, ensuring alignment with US GAAP and local requirements.

You will partner with regional Finance, Tax, Treasury, Shared Services, and external advisors, manage VAT, annual financial statements, and internal controls, and lead process improvements using SAP and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; Dutch RA/AA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multinational or corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP, VAT, payroll accounting, and corporate income tax fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, month-end close, internal controls, and audits.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel or similar financial reporting tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and compliance.
• Manage statutory accounting, VAT compliance, tax support, and external audit relationships.
• Communicate financial results and risks to regional and global stakeholders.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity with reconciliations, accruals, and asset accounting.
• Drive process improvements using SAP and automation to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Payroll, HR, and business teams to ensure controls.
