For a dynamic and fast-growing company in Utrecht we are looking for a Senior Specialist Accounting & Tax. You’ll report to the CFO and will be working closely with Management Control, Procurement, other departments and external entities.

Function

Ensure the seamless integration, execution, and tracking of financial and accounting operations in alignment with group policies, particularly those related to Accounting, Tax, and Treasury, and provide regular updates on these activities;
Manage and supervise the application of business and accounting standards, ensuring compliance with both national and international regulations, as well as adherence to Group-wide accounting guidelines;
Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, providing clear direction for accurately recording, analyzing, and reporting the company’s financial transactions;
Take responsibility for timely monthly and year-end closings and ensure accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders;
Contribute to tax and compliance processes by preparing accurate data for submission to tax authorities and ensuring all fiscal obligations are reported and paid on time;
Oversee and manage interactions with external auditors and ensure the effective execution of audit processes.

Requirements

Preferably RA, CPA, ACCA, CA or similar;
Significant and relevant experience in Accounting & Tax roles, preferably in the telecommunications or technology sector;
Experience with Dutch GAAP and IFRS;
Analytical and communicative, fluent in English, Dutch is a plus;
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving environment;
Available for 32/40 hours per week.

Offer

You’ll receive a salary between €6,000 and €7,500 per month;
Excluding holiday allowance and bonus of max. 5%;
25 holidays;
