Job summary

Amsterdam International Community School (AICS) in Amsterdam is seeking a qualified Music Teacher for its Arts department. You will contribute to inquiry-based learning within the IB framework and support a diverse, international student community.

The role requires strong planning and classroom management, collaboration with a large school team, and a commitment to high-quality, inclusive education. The position is based at the South Campus with Wednesday and Thursday teaching days.

About the position

For our Arts department we are looking for a qualified Music Teacher with a strong understanding of inquiry-based learning, ideally with experience in the International Baccalaureate (MYP/DP). You feel confident being part of a large school community and like to work as part of a professional team. You are able to cater for students with many different social, emotional, and educational needs, from a variety of different cultural backgrounds and countries.

• Salary in LB payscale, based upon knowledge and experience (min. €3622 -max. €5520, full-time per month, before tax) or higher scale, depending on experience.
