Job summary

L'Osteria Amsterdam is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to become Lisa's right hand, sharing full responsibility for guest experience, team development, and daily operations in a bustling 55-person team and 3,000+ covers monthly.

You will lead shift leaders and frontline staff, manage opening/closing, help shape schedules and KPIs, uphold the guest standard from welcome to espresso, and grow toward Restaurant Manager as the brand expands in Amsterdam, The Hague, and Roermond.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership with a track record of motivating teams.
• Understanding of how revenue and costs affect performance.
• Hospitality mindset with ability to stay calm during busy times.
• Fluency in Dutch or English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift leaders, hosts, bartenders and waiters.
• Be the operational heart during shifts: open/close, coaching.
• Collaborate on schedule and KPIs: revenue, productivity, labour cost, guest reviews.
• Guard the guest standard from welcome to espresso.
• Identify improvements and execute changes.
