Job summary

Consortio Recruitment Group is partnering with a Dutch maritime organisation to recruit a Maritime Officer for seagoing tug vessels. You will support towing operations, navigation and deck duties alongside Dutch officers and Filipino crew onboard. A professional approach to safety and operations is essential.

You will work to a 1 month on / 1 month off rotation, with regular onboard duties and a focus on maintaining high safety standards across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Maritime Officer.
• Experience onboard seagoing vessels; towage/tug experience advantageous.
• Strong navigation, deck operations and maritime safety understanding.
• Good English communication; able to work in a multicultural crew with Dutch officers and Filipino deck hands.
• Reliable, flexible and team-oriented with a 1 month on / 1 month off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Support safe towing and maritime operations onboard tug vessels.
• Assist with navigation and deck operations.
• Maintain vessel safety procedures and day-to-day onboard activities.
