Qualifications

• Valid applicable Certificate of Competence (STCW VII/2 or STCW II/2).
• Valid STCW Training Certificates.
• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a multicultural crew.
• Experience with general cargo trade.
• Experience with mixed Nationality crew.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cargo handling operations and safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging maritime environments.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and operational requirements.

Join Royal Wagenborg as a Maritime Officer for our European Coaster Fleet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels both in a Nautical and Technical position.

Life on board our coaster fleet is typically very personal and team-based.
