Röhlig Logistics GmbH in Rotterdam is seeking a Sea Freight Operator Import to coordinate import shipments from pre-alert through customs clearance and final delivery. You will communicate with customers, overseas agents, carriers, and brokers to keep shipments on track.

The role requires solid knowledge of sea freight import operations, strong organizational skills and English/Dutch communication. A hybrid work arrangement is possible and a good pension scheme is offered.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of sea freight import operations and relevant shipping documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a customer-oriented approach.
• Confident using operational systems; MS Office experience is valuable (freight forwarding systems a plus).
• Good Dutch and English communication skills with a collaborative working style.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate incoming sea freight shipments from pre-alert to delivery.
• Communicate with customers, overseas agents, carriers, brokers to resolve delays.
• Arrange customs clearance, documentation, and cargo release per requirements.
• Handle discrepancies, invoicing and cost processing accurately and on time.
• Follow procedures and look for efficiency improvements.
