Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Seafreight Coordinator based in Rotterdam City Center to coordinate export shipments and oversee the complete supply chain flow. You will collaborate with offshore teams and online agencies to ensure operational excellence while onboarding new customers.

The role requires 1–2 years in ocean freight forwarding, fluency in English, and a customer-oriented mindset. Rotterdam living and EU work eligibility are preferred, with a hybrid work setup offered by the company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments via seafreight and follow up.

• Supervise end-to-end supply chain processes for customers.
• Monitor supply chain software for timeliness and accuracy.
• Onboard and implement new customers.
• Ensure each step in the supply chain is executed properly.

Functie

• Coordinating the execution and follow up of export shipments via seafreight.
• Communication with offshore teams, online agencies and other stakeholders.
• Supervising the whole supply chain process of customers to reach operational excellence.
• Timely and accurate monitoring of the companies Supply Chain software.
• Onboarding and implementing new customers.
• Making sure every step in the supply chain process is executed properly.

Profiel

• Fluent in English, other European languages are a plus
• 1-2 years of experience in Ocean freight forwarding.
• Customer oriented
• Residing in the Netherlands and eligible to work in the European Union.
