Job summary

ISISPACE Group’s SAIT team seeks a Team Lead to steer satellite-level integration and test activities, ensuring smooth operations and an inspiring, transparent team culture. You will guide a discipline team, align goals with wider program objectives, and contribute to hands-on discipline work when needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of leadership or team management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to guide, mentor, and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable team objectives.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in monitoring progress, addressing issues and ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage day-to-day activities and long-term initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translate department goals and initiatives into clear team objectives and plans.
• Define priorities, expected results, and assign team members to projects based on needs, competencies, and capacity.
• Support resource planning in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the discipline team.
• Provide professional guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
• Monitor progress, address issues, and escape where necessary.
• Conduct performance reviews and identify development and training needs in alignment with management.
• Develop, implement, and maintain team processes and improvements in alignment with company and department initiatives.
• Ensure team processes are documented and adhered to.
• Coordinate process improvements with other stakeholders, teams, and departments.
• Ensure team members comply with applicable processes, standards, rules, and regulations, and address deviations.
• Facilitate effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Promote a positive, professional, and supportive team environment.
• Support recruitment and onboarding where applicable.
