Job summary

OTC Flow is seeking a Sales Trader (French Market) in Amsterdam to build a client portfolio and provide strategic trade solutions supporting environmental compliance. You will prospect new clients through cold calls and meetings, while receiving training and development from experienced traders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 1–2+ years in B2B sales, business development, or client-facing roles in commodities or energy markets.
• Strong sales acumen with ability to negotiate and close deals.
• Proactive and resilient; comfortable with cold calling and outreach.
• Native-level French; fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build your client portfolio through direct prospecting via cold calling and networking.
• Communicate with clients through phone, online and face-to-face meetings to understand their business needs.
• Identify trade opportunities and support in executing them.
• Serve as the primary source of information for your contacts.
• Provide daily pricing and insights to market actors through messaging systems.
• Monitor markets and stay updated on financial news and developments.
• Be aware of products being traded and stay updated on new products and procedures.
• Be responsible for achieving your own revenue (PnL) target.
• Promote OTC Flow’s services to increase market share.
