We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist with strong Financial Analysis skills to join our team in Amsterdam.
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, operational, and coordination support to the sales team to drive sales performance, enhance customer experience, and ensure smooth sales process execution. This role acts as a key liaison between sales representatives, customers, internal departments (e.g., marketing, logistics, finance), and plays a critical part in optimizing sales efficiency and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for, and assisted by sales representatives, for dealers communication in terms of dealer rebate reimbursement, commercial policy calculation and getting approval for payout.
- Generate sales reports: compile and analyze sales data (e.g., sales volume, lead conversion rate, customer retention) to provide insights for sales managers’ decision-making; ensure timely submission of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.
- Assist in dealer inventory and stock management: monitor product availability, inform sales teams of stock levels, and coordinate with the supply chain team to avoid stock outs or overstock situations.
- Assist sales representatives in preparing sales materials, including proposals, quotations, contracts, and product presentations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company standards.
- Manage sales-related administrative tasks: maintain customer databases (CRM), track sales leads, update sales records, and file documents (digital and physical) systematically.
- Support sales team operations: schedule client meetings, arrange business trips (flights, accommodations), prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and assist in organizing sales events (e.g., product launches, client seminars).
- Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill customer requests: communicate with logistics for order processing and delivery tracking, collaborate with finance for invoice issuance and payment follow-up, and liaison with marketing for promotional materials or campaign support.
- Provide customer support: respond to basic customer inquiries (via phone, email, or online platforms) regarding product details, order status, and after-sales services; elevate complex issues to relevant sales or technical teams promptly.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; associate degree with relevant work experience is also acceptable.
- Work Experience: 1-2 years of proven experience in sales support, administrative support, or customer service roles; experience in B2B/B2C sales environments is a plus.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho); ability to use data analysis tools is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills: ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail: high accuracy in preparing documents, entering data, and verifying information. Team collaboration: willingness to support the sales team and work cross-functionally with other departments.
