Job summary

Oceanco, based in the Netherlands at our Alblasserdam facility, builds large custom yachts up to 150 meters, delivering bespoke vessels through innovative design and technology.

The role provides commercial support to ensure smooth workflows, enabling informed decisions, maintaining high quality data, and producing client profiles, reports, and proposals while collaborating with brokers and owners. A challenging full-time function in an international yacht-building environment awaits.

Qualifications

• HBO/Bachelor’s degree in related area.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills; ability to see the big picture.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on clients, brokers, competitors, market trends, and commercial opportunities to support business development.
• Prepare client profiles, stakeholder maps, meeting briefings, and materials for events and shipyard visits.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy and generate reports, dashboards, and pipeline insights to support sales performance and forecasting.
• Manage and organize commercial documentation, sales assets, presentations, and technical materials.
• Support the Sales Director and commercial team with proposals, presentations, bid packages, and client communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate technical information into compelling commercial value propositions.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, designers, owner representatives, and industry stakeholders, ensuring effective follow-up on opportunities and networking activities.
• Handle confidential client and commercial information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

Your meaningful purpose:

Provide support to commercial team by ensuring a smooth operational workflow. Enable effective commercial decision-making and successful sales execution by providing accurate market and client intelligence, maintaining high-quality commercial data and processes, and delivering proactive support to the Commercial Cluster and other internal and external stakeholders.
