Job summary

Thingsdata is seeking an office employee for our sales department in Amsterdam. You will handle prospecting (outbound calls and emails), generate new business opportunities, document information in our CRM, and help draw up agreements.

You will collaborate with our sales consultants, stay informed about market developments, and perform analyses to support retention and growth. The role requires a technical degree, 32–40 hours per week, and strong Dutch and English communication.

Qualifications

• Completed technical college or university education.
• Availability for 32–40 hours per week.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Interest in learning new technologies.
• Commercial skills for gaining customer trust, advising, persuading and negotiating.
• Social skills for building and maintaining customer relationships and teamwork.
• Good communication in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers through cold calling and emailing.
• Generate new business opportunities and document prospect information in CRM.
• Draft, review and support contract term negotiations and agreements.
• Support sales consultants in the sales process.
• Handle administrative tasks related to orders and accounts.
• Keep track of market developments and competitive offerings.
