Meliá Hotels International, operating INNSiDE Amsterdam, seeks a proactive sales professional to drive corporate accounts, travel agencies, and local partners. This role focuses on prospecting, site inspections, and targeted actions to grow revenue and market position.
You will manage RFP cycles, coordinate with global teams, and support budgets while expanding relationships with key accounts in Amsterdam and beyond. Fluency in English is required.

Develop and maintain relationships with Corporate accounts, travel agencies, TMCs, event agencies, and local partners; Generate new business through prospecting, networking events, client meetings, sales calls, and site inspections; Promote the hotel's lifestyle proposition; Contribute to budgets and Business Plans for assigned segments and markets; Manage the full RFP cycle and negotiations for corporate RFPs; Execute targeted sales actions to achieve revenue goals and improve market positioning; Manage existing accounts, sign up new local accounts, and generate business opportunities; Respond to business customer requests; Capture new accounts and coordinate with Sales Development on broader opportunities; Monitor strategic account performance and alignment with hotel needs; Prepare Business Cases and documentation for new account acquisition; Identify business opportunities in traditional and emerging markets; Represent the hotel at industry events, sales actions, and professional forums; Collaborate with Account Managers, the Global Sales Team, and internal departments; Coordinate site inspections, Fam Trips, and virtual sales actions; Prepare Business Review reports and track progress against objectives; Ensure accurate forecasting and support budget projections for accounts; Represent the Head of Sales during their absence.
Experience in a commercial hospitality role; Fluent English; Strong understanding of Business and Leisure segment hotel operations; Strategic mindset with a customer-centric approach; Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills; Proactive, enthusiastic, and results-driven approach; Positive attitude, commercial mindset, and strong networking skills; Nice to have: Knowledge of the Amsterdam hotel market, Dutch, Spanish, Salesforce, OPERA, Microsoft Office.
