BikeFair is a one-stop-shop bike marketplace seeking a Sales & AM Intern. You will visit bike shops, onboard partners, and learn the full B2B sales process in a fast-moving startup near Amsterdam.
The role requires a proactive communicator with English and Dutch. You will gain hands-on experience in market research, partner onboarding, field visits, and contributing to product feedback during a 6-month internship with a basic allowance.
BikeFair is a one-stop-shop bike marketplace: a full-service bike platform for individuals, and a plug-and-play e-commerce solution for businesses. Seamlessly find and purchase a bike including custom-offered equipment, servicing, insurance, or repair. All through a single access point, online, using an existing local network of suppliers.
We want bikes to become the global n.1 mode of transport on short distances. We aim to make buying, selling, even owning a bike easier than hailing a taxi, hopping on a bus or refueling own car.
We're still in the beginning of this mission, an early-stage start-up with global ambitions. We are funded by amazing investors, generating revenues and beating the first significant milestones (almost 10,000 bikes sold, 200 partners across the whole country), currently aiming to conquer the Dutch market and begin international expansion.
BikeFair provides you with a dynamic, ambitious environment. We love people that are self-starters and are not afraid to do and learn on the go! If you're looking for sitting behind a laptop or making coffee, BikeFair is not the right place for you. If you like to be on the road, talk to (potential) clients, visiting shops and onboarding clients, we are your match!
Generally, we are looking for:
For this specific role, you should also be an outgoing person, a good communicator able to turn any challenge into an opportunity. We'll teach you the rest.
During the internship, we will show you the full (supply-side) B2B sales process of an up-and-coming bike marketplace:
You will get a chance to experience all of the steps throughout the partner lifecycle yourself with a focus on the simpler tasks, and depending on your learning trajectory, you can work yourself into a full-time role.
The internship is preferably 4-5 days per week for 6 months, but schedules are open for discussion.
Corresponding basic internship allowance provided.
