Job summary

ALARA is seeking a driven Sales Engineer to join our team and work on noise solutions for construction projects. You will collaborate with the Sales Manager and Account Manager, conduct customer interviews, and develop technically and commercially suitable solutions for SMEs to multinationals, nationally and internationally.

You will perform acoustic and ventilation calculations, as well as cost price analyses, while following building code requirements.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education at MBO+ level in mechanical engineering.
• Several years of work experience in a technical or commercial role within the construction industry.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer.
• Driven team player who is solution-oriented and creative.
• Service- and results-oriented attitude with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Sell within the construction industry with technical support from engineering.
• Perform acoustic, ventilation and cost price calculations for sound insulation elements.
• Convert quotations into orders while ensuring healthy margins.
• Use ISAH-ERP to archive correspondence, process orders and coordinate with stakeholders.
